Clevedon: Coast and Country – Full Day
This itinerary includes Clevedon, Whitford and Maraetai. A self-drive option is best for a full day experience.
From Whitford, drive along the coast towards Maraetai beach (you might want to stop at the Italian Country market on your left a little outside Whitford to pick up a few tempting items for lunch) and then maybe turn left at the Formosa Golf Resort and spend half an hour or so at Pine Harbour Marina watching the boats. If the weather permits, eat a late lunch in true Kiwi style – on the beach at Maraetai! Spend the remainder of the afternoon in Clevedon – a village with a genuine country feel and specialty shopping.
