Manukau's strength is its people and its ethnic diversity.  Creatively Manukau draws inspiration from the diverse background and ethnicities of its people – from Polynesian and Pacific cultures, to Asian and European.

Cultural heritage is expressed through creativity and Manukau has a rich history of indigenous art and crafts, together with more traditional and contemporary artforms.
